Kaylighe was Born and breed in Birmingham currently living and based in London kaylighe is a vibrant individual, full of energy always ready to learn, serve and create. Bold, easy to work with and multi-talented, kaylighe is well experience in a variety of fields, which you will be able to see throughout the portfolio. Passionate about the arts kaylighe loves dance, music, media & communication and fashion, which are also areas that have shaped her as the creative she is today.
Always intrigued and ready to learn Kaylighe finds great interest in learning and developing new skills as well creating something out of nothing. Kaylighe started her own Fashion brand from knowing very little about fashion design but never let that hold her back.
Self-taught Fashion Designer and owner of Lux Streetwear brand G'zell, Kaylighe enjoys not only exploring different types of fabrics and construction styles but also loves to express herself through fashion. Using fabric as a blank canvas, incorporating printing and other techniques as forms of expression of self and the enjoyment of life.
G'ZELL
G’zell is a Lux Genderless Streetwear Brand, creating clothes for the expression of self.
BOLD | LUMINARY | CERTIFIED inspired by movement, music and the streets.
Offering ready-to-wear products along side offering bespoke services, creating looks that allow the wearer to express their true self and empower them. This service is also extended to upholstery, where customers can bespoke cushion covers for indoor and outdoor furniture, adding a personal touch to your space.
The Ego Luv Collection explores panel play and the use of different fabrics coming together to make unique pieces whilst upcycling scraps of fabric.
Kaylighe has worked with and designed for
some of UK’s dopest Music Artists such as; Truemendous,
C Cane, Kwarmz and Flava and Kimmy Beatboxer and more.
Supporting independent and local brands, producing samples, bulk products and supporting brand strategies.
Also creating designs for multiple dancers/groups,
collaborating and working with influencers within the UK and abroad as well as
supporting the BLM movement
and LGBT community and providing seamstress services to local brands.
